This is a listing to purchase/place a non-refundable deposit for one of my 10 custom/commissioned knives for 2025.
I take 1 commissioned piece for each month February through November.
I don’t do custom/commissioned work in January or December.
The $200 deposit goes towards your commissioned piece and covers the costs of materials/time. The remaining balance is due upon completion of your knife.
For my commissioned knives I offer the following options to my customs:
Choice of one of my current knife models as I have spent years refining each model. (I do not make other artists/companies patterns or styles.)
Choice of blade steel:
Carbon steels (8670, 80crv2, W2, 26c3, ProCut)
Stainless steels: (Nitro-V, AEB-L)
Choice of blade finish: Machined satin, forced patina, stonewashed, Honyaki clayed hamon on applicable steels (W2/26c3).
Choice of handle materials that I readily have available or I have easy access to. ( I have a vast inventory of exotic woods)
***I do not use customer provided handle materials.
*** As of 8/1/2025 : ALL CUSTOM ORDERS WILL BE SENT USING USPS AND WILL BE SENT (CERTIFIED MAIL/SIGNATURE REQUIRED/FULL VALUE INSURANCE) THIS EXPENSE WILL BE INCLUDED WITH FINAL INVOICE.
